It started off as just a free WordPress plugin.

And so we bought it off of its kind of original developer for pretty cheap and then built the hosting platform on top of it.

What year did you buy it?

uh, two years ago right now.

So we're talking in January, 2019.

I mean, I think especially now in retrospect, the beauty of it is it's a beautiful marketing channel.

So, so we have kind of a freemium model with the WordPress plugin being the main driver of, of business and new leads for the hosting platform.

And that's basically what we bought is the platform on which a lot of our now customers come from.

We bought it for, in reality, really cheap for kind of the value of that asset.

Yeah.

And how many users were on it at that point?

So the plugin had about 15,000 active installs in WordPress at the time.

And so our thought was, geez, if we get 1% or 10% of those, then we're sitting pretty.

And that number increases every month and along with it, our number of users as well.

So it's kind of like an Amazon store or something like that.

So we don't have contact information about any of those people.

We've done some things to be able to put prompts into WordPress, like a landing page kind of.

So when someone installs the plugin or upgrades a version or something like that, we're able to say, you know, hey, check out this new feature in Castos hosting or the analytics we provide or something like that.

We can capture email in there, but that doesn't kind of come with
