And I can see why Ash Klein, the referee, sent him off.
And again, I don't know the rules like the experts do.
I could also see why people were saying it wasn't worthy of being sent off, as in being sin bin.
It was worthy of being sent off, but not sin bin.
So that's the core of it.
I wanted to know what Phil Gould said.
But again, this has come in maybe the days of reflection, actually, because it was everywhere.
I mean, I know the News Limited papers are obsessed with Phil Gould, and every single second story for maybe 48 hours after it was, oh, Phil Gould didn't say anything.
I've never met Phil Gildhutchi, but for what it's worth, I liken him, and just in the backs of my mind, I liken him to Sam Newman, who, whether he says something or doesn't say something, it's news.

He knew that whatever he said or didn't say in that moment was going to be picked up.
I think he's smart enough to know that.

I just think he took the view.
Everyone's had their say on this.
I didn't agree with it either, but that's been said enough already on this program tonight.
So I'm going to address it this way.
And whatever he said, he couldn't have got more follow-up coverage than what he actually did in addressing them out of the way he did.
Just to sign off on it, apart from the game itself and the Ponga incident, it got, the Phil Gould moment, from what I consumed and what I got sent or what my algorithm sent me, it got more coverage than the game itself.
Sorry, as much coverage as the game itself.
