So based on my math and my redemption habits, I come well ahead of that three percent transaction fee when I redeem those rewards.

You can also do the same thing with United and Air France and a couple of other cards.

You can use any card through built.

It just you'll pay that transaction fee.

And generally, unless it's a specific use case, you're not gonna come ahead of the fee with the rewards that you're on.

Uh it depends what the card is.

For at most rewards, if I can pay one cent per point for at most rewards and I'm effectively getting somewhere between two and a half and three cents per point when I redeem them, that's like a eighty percent discount in some cases on what I'm paying up front.

Let's make something else perfectly clear though.

You also like flying basic economy and saving as much money as you can where I will not be caught dead in basic economy.

I hate admitting this, but I didn't use the hotel credits in the first half of the year, and that's primarily because I ha I know, right?

It's like two hundred dollars left on the table, which I don't like to do.

So I have hotel credits with other cards.

I generally use points for almost all of my hotel stays.

And the thing I found about the built credits is that they're sure you get two hundred dollars in semi-annual credits with the palladium, but at the the end of that I still have to pay cash for palladium.

part of the stay and I just don't like paying cash.

So I'd rather use the Glood of hotel points and just redeem those elsewhere.

I am curious though, because we already talked about the hotel benefit.

You guys have both used your built palladium two hundred dollar uh semi annual credits this year.

What were the benefits like when you checked in?
