If I don't have enough built cash to earn points, I pay with my Atmos Summit Rewards card through built, and that actually lets me earn three Atmos points per dollar that I spend.

And I get status points with

Alaska Airlines.

So that gives me a shortcut towards elite status, gives me the most valuable airline miles, or at least the ones that I consider the most valuable airline miles.

And it also lets me earn my way towards the hundred thousand point global companion award if you spend sixty thousand dollars on the card in a calendar year.

Uh so all of these things considered, it it it well makes up for the three percent transaction fee that I have to pay for using my summit rewards card.

So it's a three percent transaction fee.

Let's get that out of the way to begin with.

So take three percent of whatever.

I am paying three percent in cash to earn three Atmos points per dollar.

So I'm effectively paying one cent per point for Atmos rewards points, but just based on my spreadsheet, so I've redeemed a lot of Atmos points over the years.

I get somewhere around two and a half to three cents per point when I redeem them.

So it's effectively like a 33% discount, somewhere around that when I'm purchasing the points.

And beyond that, it allows me to qualify for elite status with Atmos, which is

is also transferable to One World Alliance.

So when I use Atmos points for redemptions on American Airlines, which is part of the One World Alliance, I get my status recognized.

And it also gives me priority boarding and a variety of other benefits when I don't fly with Atmos.

So you can actually earn rewards with other credit cards through built by making housing payments.

You just have to pay a transaction fee, and that's around three percent.

So you can use, say, the Atmos Summit Rewards card or the Atmos Ascent card, and each of those earn three miles per dollar when you make housing payments through built.
