So, you know, it really was a family affair with Cal.

And, I mean, he did an unbelievable job organizing that group.

And they were all kind of blue-collar, wealthy guys.

A lot of them were anyways.

And he did an unbelievable job.

I mean, you couldn't think of the logistics when Cal,

You know, you've got 30-some owners or whatever it was coming, you know, all wanting to come in the dressing room.

And Cal, I mean, he kept a handle on all that stuff incredibly well.

And when Glenn was there after Cal took over, Bill Toelle was the henchman.

And then all of a sudden Glenn left and Bill was on an island.

But, you know, Cal kept him on.

And, you know, was a great guy to work for.

And, you know, the city really owes him a debt of gratitude.

There's no question.

There weren't a lot of guys stepping up to that level.

And you can, you know, the amount of work that it takes to try and organize an ownership group to try and keep the team in Edmonton.

So, I mean, Cal was, you know, he deserves a real, a lot of respect on his way out the door.

And it's,

It's sad in one respect that he loved life.

You know, he was living his best life.
