The good penalty killing teams don't allow somebody to pull the puck in tighter than the dot.

I mean, if you're outside of the dot, or even I'll push it a couple feet outside the dot before you should be pressured, and then you need that rotation at the bottom.

If they go to the bottom, then that side D's got to come over there and apply pressure.

I was lucky enough as a player to play with two defensemen where that

crease pass never came through kevin low and craig muni i mean those guys that puck never came through you were a pretty good penalty killer too well i could win a face-off and uh kevin low could clear it block it and uh craig muni could uh

You know, block a passing lane.

There weren't too many direct backdoor passing lanes.
