He was having a great time, and, you know, he had a network of friends.

When I first got there in 85, we used to go to the Marchand Mansion with John Truman and Cal and Glennie Anderson.

That's where we'd go for a pregame meal.

They'd be cooking us up a pregame meal from John Truman's –

condo up there at La Marchante Mansion.

And they were just awesome people and, you know, super sharp guy with Gasland and then Cantel and all that stuff.

And I mean, he and Glennie Anderson were best of friends for decades.

You know, 40 years, so Cal, I mean, nothing but respect for Cal.

there definitely was, and it was definitely a blue-collar feel.

I mean, we could just rip the cover off teams, but we had depth.

We had four good lines.

I mean, we didn't have the elite high end, but we could territorially dominate any team in any game because, I mean, we had –

One line after the other, we could roll out there, and they were all looking to rip the cover off the opposition, and we had a very physical team.

Jason Smith was our captain, so...

I mean, he was an unbelievable leader, too, as well.

I mean, just a crazy tough guy.

And, you know, Stevie Stales, too.

A lot of those guys, Mike Greer, Todd Marchand, a lot of those guys are managing teams around the league.
