And I was the same way as a young player.

I'm waiting for the development fairy to come down

and bestow development on me.

And it generally happens when you figure out that you're in charge of the development, the organization has a lot of resources, and, you know, spend a lot of money on the resources that you have to tap into to accelerate your development level.

But, you know, these guys, they train at a different level than we used to, not that we weren't in

Decent shape, but it's a different animal today.

Well, they were.

And, you know, we all kind of mature and we forget how young these guys are when they come to us.

And I mean, Taylor Hall was here at it.

you know, the ripe age of 18 and with a lot of expectations.

And that's tough for a young player to handle.

And you're coming into an organization when you're picked that high that's not very strong, a team that's not very strong.

So, you know, it's a struggle for these guys.

And, you know, it was a struggle for Taylor.

And I was super happy for him this year to,

that he won the Stanley Cup.

I mean, he was never a bad guy or a bad teammate.

He just, you know, came from a different background.

You and I have talked about this before.

And, you know, didn't necessarily have the social toolkit to adhere to all these expectations.
