I mean, he's had nine of the last 13 starts or something like that.

So he's significantly outplayed the other guy for a longer period of time.

So, yeah, I think he was telling us something that we already knew.

And, you know, it probably...

didn't sit that well with Tristan Jari.

I mean, not that we have to be overly empathetic to Tristan, but I mean, we have to give him a chance to as well.

And, uh, he's, he's under a lot of pressure and, uh, you know, the, that announcement leads to questions and puts more pressure on a guy that in my mind needs to be protected, not only by the coaching staff, but also,

there's not a lot of things worse in this game.

And I'm not saying this about Tristan because I don't know it to be true.

But the goalies that I've had that have poor work ethic in practice, it's a nightmare.

And...

A lot of times you really are benefited by having your goalie to be the most mentally tough guy in your locker room.

And I gave Stu Skinner a lot of credit for that.

He was unflappable.

And how do you develop that mental toughness?

Well, it starts with self-confidence and self-awareness.

But the work ethic has to be there because...

You know, it's a disaster.

And then that leads to criticism and the players don't like it because they're trying to work on stuff too.
