So I mean I was always pretty amazed at how quickly

Todd McClellan and Craig Baruby and and Jay Woodcroft got down to their teams and uh started uh teaching the system play because you know most of this stuff is pretty familiar to all these guys and they're there there's gonna be change, but most of it'll be subtle change and things that uh the players would have contemplated before.

So I don't think

think it's anything drastic.

I think uh

You know, it sounds like uh Mike's hitting all the right uh all the right buttons uh going in.

I think uh

You know, we we can't

forget that at you know, a point not

in the not too uh uh d distant past, he was the preeminent coach, Canadian coach.

And so the guy's obviously got a lot of skill.

Um but I mean he he knows the game well, he can articulate the game at a level like Ken Hitchcock could.

And I mean he could talk hockey, uh hoc talk hockey

Well, I mean is Mike

g gonna resonate with these players certainly early on, absolutely.

Is he gonna have a significant impact, positive impact?

I I would say yeah.

And uh it sounds like he's sitting on all uh the right the the right teams.

The other part of it is is he able to inspire the players at critical times and I'm sure he's got lots of that in the toolbox too as well.

But uh you know, those are things that are more difficult to do over time than they are initially in training camp.
