Both my parents were both employed.
They were both the hunter-gatherer.
I mean, their roles were very equal for the most part.
They both did everything around the house.
I mean, my dad was kind of the fix-it guy.
And my mom was the, she did most of the cooking and stuff.
My mom, I can remember going in the house and there not being any food.
I was not a wealthy child at all.
We were lower middle class at best.
But I can remember coming into school going, there ain't shit in here to eat and I'm starving to death.
And my mom would come in and cook dinner and he'd be like, where did this come from?
But she was able to make stuff out of nothing.
