And how can we improve those numbers to improve the profitability within our businesses?

And again, going back to when I were on the tools, off the tools, you know, twenty-five years plus ago, it's a case of, well, in all honesty, I didn't know the numbers in my business.

Again, it comes back to having no plan, no clarity.

I used to wing it.

I was great with my hands as a joiner.

I could build anything.

But running a business and understanding the numbers scared the h hell out of me.

You know, and I weren't the best at maths or anything like that way back at school all them years ago.

I weren't the best at maths.

So I just thought, you know, the harder I graph, the more works I do, the more jobs I take on, the more vans I have on the road, the more profit I'll make.

And that's not how it works.

In fact, that can work in the entire opposite way.

In the fact that you could be growing your business, taking more work on, taking more team on, taking more vans on, like I did.

Then you get to the end of the year and you look back at your books and your accounts and you go, Well, hang on a minute, I've hardly made any more profit.

I've turned over 500 grand.

I'm working my bollocks off every single week.

I'm employing new team.

The overheads are skyrocketing, and I've I've hardly made any more money.

So I'll tell you what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna go back on the tools to make
