know, but my argument it would be that actually this is an alternative for the EU, rather than go down the protectionist route, focus in a sense what they need to do on the national security issues and the very real areas in which, for example, China or the US are, you know, not playing by those global rules, but invest in a in actually preserving what you believe in through the economic third pole.

The paper sets out a set of beliefs that members of the Third Bowl should genuinely have, and these include, you know, we're not going to use economic coercion, we do believe in in following rules, we believe in independent adjudication of how uh trade dis disputes be settled.

If uh

the new president said, Yes, I'm committed to these things, I believe in them, well yes.

I mean that's and and it was a genuine commitment.

Yes, I mean that's the whole concept is that it's open to everybody who believes in those things.

And if the US were to come back to that, as it may do, although I personally sadly think it's not likely for some time, then very much so.

And we're also doing a range of work on particularly on a new area which is kind of linked to what we've discussed, which is there's now an emerging Chinese strategy in relation to food.

global food systems be.
