I think it is possible, yes.

Provided it's in a sufficiently large economic mass.

And the advantage of bringing together the EU and uh the countries of CPTPP is that you would have an economic mass significantly larger than either the US or China.

I mean you're absolutely right.

And in a sense I'm pleased that you've drawn that from from reading the paper.

It this is not intended as something in opposition to the US or in opposition to China for that matter.

It's about countries that want to continue with the system that they had up to uh, let's say 2024 or so, being able to do so in the future and having enough uh economic space and mass

to do that.

Um so it is very much open to everyone to join, provided they follow the principles that are enshrined in that poll.

major emerging and developing economies.

They wouldn't be interested to join such an exercise if it was simply about preserving the past.

It has to be about developing and improving in the future.

And that includes issues like the governance of the IFIs, the international financial institutions and so on.

So it's very important that the poll should work on those elements and that should be an essential part of what they achieve, not just freezing the past.
