You tend to not trust the guys in front of you.
So I guess he went in with the attitude that I've got a great team in front of me.
They're going to make me look good as long as I'm square to the shooter and I trust that I'm quick enough to make the saves, which he did.
He was square all day long, minimizing rebounds.
He made a couple of great saves.
He played like he was on a good team.
And that's what you want to see.
You didn't want to see any of the bad habits that he may have picked up on a losing team at the moment.
He played perfectly.
No question.
There's two schools of thought.
Usually in the playoffs, I wasn't a great puck handler.
I had to manufacture something.
So I minimized my puck handling in the playoffs.
I just kept it real simple, not to make that big mistake that cost the team.
When I seen Binner behind the net on his forehand look to rim it and then go to his backhand and kind of go up the middle, I was like, wow.
I'm like, this guy's got confidence.
I like it.
That's a good sign.
