And I remember asking him when I was younger, like I was a teenager and I remember asking him like,

And he was just like, no, he was like appalled, like almost like disgusted that I even asked that.

And I remember him answering me like, no, she's my kid.

And I remember thinking like,

I'm your kid.

Because he was there when I was born.

So to me, I looked at him like my father, especially because I didn't know him until I was 16.

And the way he raised me, I was like, yeah, this is dad.

So when he answered like that, like, no, she's my kid.

I was just like, okay, so...

Like, that made me feel like something was off with me.

Like, what about, what do you mean?

It's hurtful.

Especially because he always, from even a little, like, when I was little, he would always tell me, like, I'm his little girl.
