As soon as he heard that, he met me at the hospital.

My wife couldn't cross because of a C-section.

And Mike had dialed in and found a way to push the best electrical heart specialist in Michigan to be there.

And this guy picked my son up.

He ended up being there about a month.

And, you know, we went from that experience of thinking we're losing him to

to Mike being there at 4 in the morning to meet me and to do this.

And that's a side of Mike that no one sees.

And that's probably a bond that our family has with him and his family, you know, the rest of our life.

My 10-year-old is going to be living in Edmonton this year.

You know, and with me, you know what, Mike gave me my opportunity in the National Hockey League.

And, you know, I'll forever be grateful for that.

But then again, every day when I look at Rocky, I just think what a guy does away from the rink a lot of people don't talk about, that's one that will forever have us bonded.

Yeah, absolutely.

You know what?

You know, being Canadian and, you know, I had an opportunity to coach in Toronto and Ottawa.

There's just something about coaching in Canada.

There's just so many more people are aware of everything that's going on, the situation, the magnitude of hockey in Canada.

It's just, it's a little bit different animal after being in L.A.

for, you know, three years.
