Although it's ironic that both Jokic is arguably, by the numbers, having his best season.
Jamal Murray absolutely having his best year.
And it's been one of the worst years.
Like just misery.
Why did you think it could be?
Because he had the room to be in shape.
He had the fully healthy office.
He didn't have rehab leading up all year.
He actually had room to come in, handle his business.
There were no outside mitigating factors.
There was nothing like, you know, he's like, there wasn't the team Canada stuff.
There was like the previous year he was obviously hampered and it looked like maybe we'd lost him for good because he just like, I mean, he was obviously the worst player on team Canada, but he,
he was injured.
So I just, I don't know.
I just felt like, okay, now we finally, this is a true, we're going to really get an opportunity to see who Jamal Murray is.
And I happen to believe that because he's shown it to me already in the biggest moments that he does have that in him.
And you know, if there's not a reason that you could at least you can trace to or look point to that, he's not going to invent a reason to be out of shape, which is just like, he doesn't care.
Right.
So, I don't know.
To me, it felt like, okay, we're going to actually get an opportunity.
