defenses for certain size cities and the next level city is going to have a higher one so about 45 feet though tall maybe in some of the higher spots is not unreasonable
with the same sort of design at the top of the walls that you see on a castle, you know, where there'll be an outcropping and then a place to shoot arrows.

Break open those first walls and run in and now you're staring at walls that are higher than the ones you just broke through and they're shooting at you.
I mean, see, sieges are a whole different thing for me.
as a guy who got interested in military history as a kid, and I mean a child, sieges are not the interesting thing.
But what you realize over time is how they alter, especially until cannons can knock down walls.
Walls and fortifications and stuff around cities is huge.
