Here's the thing, though.

Alexander, I already noticed it.

Maybe I'm previewing here, but you can already see the dude's energy and the speed.

And the speed is exhausting.

I mean, this is where we start to see a differentiation between, you know, the way Alexander operates and the way the king, some dude.

Remember, we talked about that last summer, the King Tommy boy, any other Macedonian king.

You start to say, OK, what's different about Alexander?

The pace.

And if not now, then soon.

I mean, and look, I'm a 21st century wimp.

And I realize people in the ancient world walked everywhere and they were much more used to this and that and the other thing.

But already the march totals are exhausting to me.

He's got these guys marching all the time, every day.

I mean, he'll go from one city to another and it sounds like, oh, you're just, you know, taking a quick trip to this.

It'll be four straight days of marching.

He's going to go 167 miles between two places and just don't even think about it.

But that's wear and tear, isn't it?

And the Macedonian army is going to be absolutely wonderful at this for a very long time, but nobody's got this guy's energy.

And again, this is part of what sets him apart.
