So, Andy, what do you want your legacy to be?
So you gave a commencement address not long ago.
Do you remember what some of the key messages were from that address?
What you told young people?
terms of kind of the power structure it was the big wineries yeah they kind of wielded the power there was a big meeting big association meeting the people the farm the farmers sat around outside the table and the wine the wineries were at the table and you said through that i'm sitting at the table yeah how did how did that go over and did any other
Farmers join you or?
Oh, I love that.
the way talking about the farm workers i understand you got to know caesar chavez pretty well uh which you know he's kind of an icon i think he was the what is the president of the national farm workers association what was he like and what were your what was your work uh relationship like with that union well what happened was that uh the funk when
I think that's a great lesson.
I grew up dealing with
union a lot.
