Before we get to the kind of the meat of your book, just a level set for everybody.
If you could explain to our listeners one of the concepts they read about all the time, which is cryptocurrency.
What is cryptocurrency and what is Bitcoin and what would differentiate Bitcoin from, let's say, any other kind of cryptocurrency?
One of the other reasons you mentioned in your book it's not great for payments is because its value is so volatile.
And kind of following up on that, a lot of people are investing in Bitcoin.
I have a lot of listeners who are wondering, hmm, should I invest in Bitcoin?
How does one evaluate whether it's a good investment or not?
Because when you invest in a company, you take a look at its value.
its product its assets its cash flow its growth rates which of course determine its multiple how do you think about it i guess one could argue there's a scarcity because your book just says well you can only make a maximum of 21 million of them i think that was the number something like that so there it is theoretically scarce but how do you how do you value bitcoin
