But also, I think we made a call that I think, say, the BBC probably wouldn't have made at the time and others, which was, what kind of country do we live in?
And do we learn more about the country we live in and the state of the nation by another report from Westminster?
Or do we learn about what the country's like by showing how people are actually living?
And that's the one thing this book, I think, is trying to do.
It's trying to show you what Britain is like for millions of people that aren't listened to.
And I'm proud of the fact that on ITV, we have, I think, changed that.
We have been braver about the way we report the news.
But I'm not going to be, I'm not going to sit here and say it was easy.
It was really hard.

And if I hadn't have stepped in in the moment with Michaela that night with her three children, then she would have slept on the streets that night.
She would have.
And that was different to the previous places because say with the first story, the first chapter, I filmed what we filmed knowing it was dangerous because we actually brought an independent safety expert in to do a report while we were there who said that it was dangerous electrocution.
But yeah, I still drove away from those flats.
I still left.
