They're screwed, is my assessment of reform.
Why I think for a number of reasons.

with just the events of the last uh the the last few days.
Actually, let's go back a little bit.
I think w just before we started broadcasting, I you know, we were just chatting and I how you'd been doing and I said this has been a a a surprisingly busy summer politically, of which Andy Burnham and obviously Kirstalman was a part.
But the other reason, certainly through the heart of the summer, was it's actually been a summer d dominated by reform and debate about reform.
precipitated primarily by Nigel Farage's
um a decision to call that, you know, bizarre uh by election in Clacton.
And if you remember the the the the
the the narrative surrounding the by election, the by election was this had been called
primarily as an act of desperation by Nigel Farage.
And it was his I think it was described by some people as his last throw of the dice.
to to achieve two primary objectives.
One was to draw a line under the financial scandal's dogging reform.
to to basically convince the media to stop talking about them and I would simplistically put it just to to get the press to back off.
The second thing was was was to use what he believed would be uh a strong mandate from his supporters in the constituency to transform the broader narrative around reform.
to arrest their decline in the polls and arrest the decline in his personal ratings.
