He didn't come back like Noah Sindergaard throwing ninety one or anything.

He's he still came back throwing pretty

hard.

He's just not there there yet.

Yeah, he came back a little different too.

Uh he almost looked like he was trying to pitch like Blake Trinan does, because he came back with the sinker, and maybe I've lost my mind, but I don't remember that sinker before.

Uh but who knows?

Uh I know th they do need innings right now, but they're understandably going to be cautious, I think, with him because he's so important to the team.

Because if he has a serious injury, you don't only lose the pitcher that's who's throwing a few innings, you might lose the hitter too.

And that's a pretty big deal, obviously, when you're talking about Otani.

I do expect him to just slowly, slowly ramp him up.

Uh the thing about the Dodgers is

One of the big things they did this off season is they made a lot of pitching additions, but a lot of it was adding depth so that when they had their usual problem of having 12 starters on the disabled on the injured list or something, that they'd be a little insured against that kind of thing.

And that's that's had mixed results this year.

Uh but I I think we'll start seeing Otani throw one, two, three innings.

I don't think he's probably ever going to have anywhere near tradition.

traditional starter workload even by twenty twenty five standards.

But what he can give them is is is pretty important.
