Uh obviously I don't think the Red Sox could necessarily do much with that money until we get to the end of the season because the

There are only so many guys you can actually pick up at the trade deadline, especially with big contracts.

And the ones who do move tend to not be worth their big contracts.

So I think the Red Sox are going to be a bit worse.

It doesn't doom the team.

But it I mean, it it's a serious hit to their offense.

Uh well, I I do like that they're actually closer to my projection this year 'cause I had them at I think ninety last year, which did not happen, almost happened the opposite way.

Um but

Uh I they're they're in a pretty good place right now.

There are some concerns, uh, but when you look at the players who are concerns, you see a legitimate path for them to hit better.

Um I I think a good example of that is is Guerrero, who isn't having the season he had last year, but he hasn't been terrible.

And you can still see him improving from where he is uh uh uh right now.

Uh I mean, yeah, he's still getting on base, but he doesn't hasn't hit with the power that he has in recent years.

Um I mean of course the big the big question this year is because I thought the Anthony Santander signing was a good signing and it has not worked out that way so far.

So there are some concerns, but I think they're in a decent

uh place.

I think the Blue Jays, if they want to be active in the trade deadline, they're one of those teams that would get a a pretty big benefit, especially if you could shore up.

Uh just you know get another bat, get another arm in the in the rotation.

There there are definite places to improve, but it's not bad.

Well the well the good thing is that when you talk about a thirty-year-old player instead of a thirty-two-year-old or a thirty-four-year-old player, they should have a higher chance of having that bounce back season.
