You know, obviously to have a sitting president show up to your event and love it as much as you do. You know, he's a huge fan. And he's someone you believe in. Yeah, yeah.
Steph, you know how many people How many people told me? When he called me in 15, right, and asked me to speak at the Republican convention, everybody told me not to do it.
Don't do it, don't do it. And I just sat there and I thought about it. I'm like, this guy's been so good to me over the years as a friend. And again, when he called me, he's like, hey, Dana, listen, if you don't want to do this, I completely understand. But I'd be honored if you'd come speak at the Republican convention for me. I'm not going to say no to that.

Which is weird to me.
It's not even like being somebody else. It's like, this is America. Yeah. We can say what we want to say and we can feel the way we want to feel. And you don't have to agree with me. Right. And you can feel the complete opposite. That's the beauty of it. And we shouldn't hate each other. That's right. We shouldn't hate each other in a way.
Oh, I mean, if you think about Democrats and Republicans, uh, in the 80s and 90s, you know, they could talk. And it's like this thing with Trump and Bill Maher. And it was brilliant of Kid Rock to put this together. And to actually be there and see this play out was... A facilitator.
Yeah. Unlikely. Yeah, these two sat down. And I'm going to tell you this. And me and Kid Rock say it all the time. If I take you to dinner, I don't mean you, you know, but if I take you... Any of you to dinner.
With Donald Trump. You'll laugh your ass off for 45 minutes and nobody walks out of that dinner going, I don't like this guy. It's impossible.
It's impossible. He's hilarious. He's a good human being. And you would think that, you know, you're going in with the president. Even Bill Maher said. I voted for Clinton and Obama. I know them both personally, and I don't think that I could have ever talked to them the way that I talked to Donald Trump. And it's the truth. He's a real guy. He's hilarious.
You don't go into a meeting or dinner and walk out and go, I don't like this guy. I hate him. It's impossible. Good on Bill Maher. Right. Absolutely. Good on Bill Moore and good on President Trump. Both of them to do the dinner.

When you sit down face to face, unless, you know, your your podcast, when you end up with a douchebag on here. Yes. But both of those guys were it was it was a great dinner to be a part of and to sit back and and watch it play out and listen to them talk to each other.
I can't wait to see this thing blow up. And when I look at the podcast ratings every week, you guys are in the top 10.
