I think they'll want someone who's proven in the top five leagues or played a fair few amount of minutes in the top five leagues.

So it will be interesting to see who it is that they go for.

I think his versatility will be probably one of the things that Liverpool are looking at as a real asset and his pace.

We were on the breakfast wrap and I was watching one of the France games and the way he just burst past people, I was actually surprised at how quick he was.

He's absolutely rapid.

Really quick with his feet.

He's probably more two-footed than a lot of the other options, which is another boon because you want somebody with that versatility who can sort of be that guy, cover all three positions.

Some of my concerns were just around the rashness in his finishing.

I've banged on quite a lot about strikers coming into form in terms of the ice in their veins and being fantastic at finishing.

It tends to come a lot, lot later or get better as you get older.

And also when you've got security, you get picked.

He's bowing my wing and he's just passing to me, that's fair.

I think he's a real genuine option.

He probably is the best one out there.

But in terms of the saga of going in and getting him, if the club go in for Barcola, I just want to have that security that they know that that's a risk.

Because if they know that that's a risk, then surely they're confident of getting him.

So I think if you start to see signals that Liverpool are in for him and a bid's gone in or terms have been agreed, surely they are confident of no messing around from PSG or at least being able to sidestep that nonsense and get the guy that they want because we can't afford another instance of trying to go after a player that we're just not going to get.
