We took very little funding.
Well, the first we went and did these pitch competitions.
The John Papa John pitch competition, it was like a $50,000 prize if you win this thing.
I think it was 50 grand.

I think we won a couple of them.
That buys a lot of Papa John's pizza and bush light.
So the John Papa John Entrepreneur Center in Mason City had that.

A guy that had grown up on a farm in Minnesota that had run a private equity fund and done a lot of investing on his own that I had met through my network at Climate and sat down and talked with him.
And he's like, he came to Ames, presented it to him, our plan, strategy, where our product was, and just was kind of all in right away.
So we lucked out a little bit.
I know a lot of companies make a lot of rounds trying to raise money, finding the right investor.
So for us, we just kind of kept it close to home.
We're very budget-friendly and bootstrapped as much as we could.
Someone with a farming background that partners with you, that's a big deal.
They get what you're trying to do.
