seen, especially validation that doesn't incite extra panic.
And I would say sort of the flip side of validation's importance is the deep, deep risk that comes with invalidation at times of severe emotional distress.

And and I I hear what you're saying about
gratitude being present in New York, but I will I'll give you a counter story.
I have a friend who's a a neurologist who works in New York.
He's being asked to work sort of outside of the scope of his practice and the setting of his hospital being in crisis.
And he put on a mask the other day and decided to go for a run because he really needed to de-stress.
And as he ran through the city, he came across a group of people partying in the park.
hanging out with each other as if nothing was going on.
And he got the most intense emotional reaction to it.
He was livid.
