I'm the market development specialist, and I work in the coastal district.
And so like I said, I kind of cover that northern California area, and then our district kind of wraps around, does the north coast, the central coast, where a lot of the leafy veg and brassicas are grown, and then we wrap down into Arizona, Yuma area.
Now tell me, what crops are you covering?
Do we have enough time?
Yeah.
I was thinking about that when I came in today.
I was like, man, what crops do I mention?
But I would say kind of the focus crops that we have for California, I'd say the big ones because there's a ton of them to mention.
But I mean, a lot of it's, you know, you start looking at tree nuts as a big player.
Grapes is a big player.
The leafy veg, Nebraska market, fruiting veg, cucurbits, citrus.
I'd say those are the big ones that we look at.
Cotton's there to some extent.
And so is rice is a big player too.
Okay.
So why do nematodes matter?
So nematodes is interesting, you know, for a long time, as people planted orchards, there's only one real solution for them to do, which was fumigation prior to planting an orchard.
And so, you know, up till about two or three years ago, you know, as Celebro came out, it kind of changes the mindset of how guys can look at nematode control.
And so, you know, now they have the opportunity where if, you know, fumigates are getting harder and harder to use in California.
and talking about like telone and chloropicrin and those types of things.
