We just felt it was time for a change of scenery.

Joe Wall, as you know, for us was interesting as we're looking for a decent and strong replacement for Sam Erson.

As far as Emile Andre, Emile was also drafted by us, grew up in the organization.

He's a competitor and I think you have to know that you figure that out when you watch him play.

His size, smaller stature, but he competes and he doesn't care

If you're 6'4", 6'8", on the other side, they'll go right through you.

So a very high competitor, I think, is going to fit in well, skates well.

For us, the tough part with Emile was we also have Cam York and Jamie Drysdale that are maybe a smaller stature defenseman.

And when you have to play all three in the same lineup...

It's possible.

We never know, right?

It varies.

It changes.

I think the fact that a lot of the players regarding free agency have resigned already, and there's not a lot out there.

I think teams are forced to look towards trades, rather.

So I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little bit more action.

I can tell you there's lots of talk everywhere, but

I don't know if it'll turn into real action yet.

Yeah, it was a combination of things.
