What I was impressed with him is the amount of time he spent on the ice one-on-one with the players.

I hadn't seen a lot of that even in my days playing.

Coaches work on systems and try to coach the team as a whole.

What I was really impressed with Rick Tockett is how much time one-on-one he spends with his guys.

I think that

had something to do.

You mentioned Trevor Zegers, Dan Vodar was outstanding.

He was our MVP last year.

And in the arrival of some of the young guys, we didn't think Marton would have as much of an impact early as soon as he left college.

So that was a big help also.

So it's a combination of things.

We caught fire at the right time after the trade deadline and carried it over to the first round in the playoffs.

Well, Jamie might be able to help you out a little bit more than I can as far as evaluating goalies.

But we rely on our goalie coaching staff.

You know, last year they came to us and Dan Vladar was the target that they had circled that they wanted.

And then this year, Joe Wall was at the top of that list for them as far as the target they wanted.

they were most excited about.

So we tried to make it work after what they were able to do with Ladar last year.
