Uh, because the they they were a uh paramilitary group uh that had actually organized itself with capos and you know and uh in and uh and dons and the whole nine.
Yards.
And so in order to penetrate them, uh, it was thought by the Judiciary Committee of the Legislature, importantly, that in order to penetrate them, there needed to be this special statute by means of which they could get at them.
Okay.
Uh and uh uh myself and others have uh deployed that particular statute to go after other groups that are organized.
Crime uh groups.
They're an entire enterprise that's functioning like uh like a uh like almost like a business uh that you need to penetrate.
Uh and we deployed that uh against the off-the-shelf enterprise, for example, of Oliver North and Richard Seacord and Jack Singlaub and all that crowd, uh, and ended up getting a special prosecutor appointed, as you know.
uh that ended up getting convictions of fourteen of the people uh before they basically ran him out of town.
I mean that that was Judge uh j uh judge uh Lawrence uh uh uh Walsh, right?
Uh a Republican uh former federal judge that was appointed by the District of Columbia uh special court uh for appointing special prosecutors, and he dug in on that whole enterprise uh and they retaliated against him.
Okay, and basically forced him out of office because he realized that they had penetrated the uh the governing circles to such an extent uh to protect themselves that he wasn't going to be able to succeed in getting them.
Uh okay.
Uh so the the the bottom the bottom line is is that this is a fundamental problem.
Until such time as the Congress steps forth.
But the bottom line is that I've been asked now by the people that were involved in drafting the UAP Disclosure Act for the Senate.
Which passed the Senate, all sixty-four pages, passed the United States Senate back in two thousand twenty three.
Uh now, as you know, the House is now through Eric Burleson has introduced uh the uh remaining pages of the UAP Disclosure Act that was passed by the Senate because the House only passed 23 pages of it, uh, which basically ordered all the agencies to gather all the information together and have it prepared to hand over to the National Archives.
And they never did.
They never did hand it over, you know, uh uh pursuant to the order of both the House and the Senate.
