Yeah, I think the financial plan is the important piece of that.
When we're working with people on their financial plans, one of our biggest goals is to really help them achieve their goals, their wishes, their desires.
So we really review the plan.
We review the strategies that are available that are unique to that person, what they're really wanting to get out of financial life, how they're wanting to strategize around that.
We try as hard as we can to facilitate that.
The second part of what we do is try to help save people from themselves and not overcomplicate things, which can sometimes happen.
So that's what I would caution for anybody thinking about doing something like this is, is it worth the complication?
And what are you achieving by doing?
creating a potentially more complicated structure than necessary unless it's achieving a critical goal in your plan, such as tax-free appreciation or tax deferment or something like that that is...
modeled in your plan as being worthwhile, necessary or advantageous, if that makes sense.
So really looking at it from those nuances, not like just because, hey, just because this vehicle exists, and I could do this, that it's worthwhile to do.
So that's the first step.
The
are looking at financial plans and helping people with their goals, the very first thing we do is look at retirement and retirement goals.
And then assess how we protect that biggest goal in people's lives.
So you look out in retirement, you're going to have to fund like...
30, maybe, I mean, 20 to 30 years really of income effectively.
So you retire at 65, you're looking at trying to ensure that you can fund yourself to your mid 80s to potentially your mid 90s.
