Yeah, so we put forward a formal motion through the democratic system within the association to the General Assembly.
And essentially, it was a resolution and it instructed, without delay, the FAI to submit a formal motion to the UEFA EXCO, the Executive Committee.
to call for the suspension of Israel based on the violation of two provisions in UEFA statutes and the provisions without going into the exact detail of them, you know, just to save a bit of time.
One of them is that they have teams playing in occupied lands.
That's an irrefutable fact.
There's no subjectivity around it.
It's just an objective fact.
That statute, I think, falls under Article 73 of FIFA and Article 5 of UEFA.
And secondly, the failure of the IFA, the Israeli Football Association, to implement and enforce an effective anti-racism policy.
And there's been numerous examples of that.
I'm conscious I don't want to I don't want to on the second one there, I suppose, downplay the importance of that.
But that can lead to discussion.
And the first one, you know, is the core, core issue for me.
There are seven Israeli teams that play in occupied lands.
The third, and it was a smaller part, was that we called on UEFA to publish transparent criteria for the suspension or exclusion of any member association.
You know, we have seen after four days of the conflict in Ukraine, the expulsion of Russia, and there's no clear criteria published.
What I would say, though, is that it's very clear on the UEFA statute for breach of Article 5, the penalty that's listed is suspension and expulsion.
