I think it would, you know, the FAI in recent years, you know, they haven't been in the strongest position as an organization.
I think that's maybe putting it lightly.
And I said, I do think there's good people there and they're improving.
I think that this would be respected massively.
I think it would gain a lot for them, not in the financial sense, but in the sense of how they're viewed maybe within the nation and outside of the nation.
But I'm reluctant, I suppose.
I obviously know people in the FAO.
I know they're in a very difficult position here.
I don't think they should be in this position.
So I'm reluctant to put all of that pressure on them.
I personally feel, though, if they were to make a decision like that, that it would be very well received and it would be very important.
And look, I mentioned this a while ago in an interview.
South Africa...
in terms of practicing apartheid was immediately suspended from FIFA, was suspended from tennis, from wrestling, from basketball.
Nobody looks back at those decisions and says they weren't the right decisions.
Everybody saw that as part of deconstructing the system of apartheid in South Africa.
And it needs something like this to begin to deconstruct the absolutely brutal system of apartheid that Israel practiced on Palestinians.
So I think that it would be seen both now and into the future as a positive thing.
And that's something that we as a nation could be proud of.
But as I've said all of that, I think UEFA should make the decision and not Ireland.
