Well, grew up in the family business, as you know, and had a lot of different roles over the years.
Started in you know, in middle school I was doing sales and running to all our events and selling books at the table and then in the summers calling uh on churches doing different sales type things.
Uh had a few construction projects in there.
Painted a stairwell, didn't you?
Yeah, a few things like that.
A few embarrassing things that I don't want to get into right now.
But uh grew up in it and so loved it, loved the people, knew the people.
well and got to watch it grow from you know being in our living room to to a pretty good sized company by the time I was in middle school and high school.
And for me, my dad was my hero.
I always looked up to him.
I always wanted to be like him.
And I got to probably high school college and really at that point I uh started to have to make this some decisions about what does my life have?
Like what does God have for me?
What is my purpose?
What is my calling?
And I really I really didn't want to come work here.
Really?

Uh and that primarily came from
You know, I it honestly came down to I didn't want to be the boss's kid.
