Uh all that comes with that, I was like, Man, that I want to go forge my own path.

I wanna be my own man.

I think there's a sense of pride there.

Yeah.

Uh maybe healthy, maybe unhealthy.

But as I dug deeper into that and was challenged by good mentors and good friends, I really realized that I was really passionate about what we do here at Ramsey and I did uh I did feel more and more like God was calling me to be here.

And it was what he had for my life, at least that next step.

I didn't I'm not gonna pretend like I knew this was my life purpose completely, but I th I knew that that was gonna be the next step.

And the main thing that was holding me back was fear.

It was fear of living up to standards, fear of um being the boss's kid and and you know, having to push through a lot of the uh the bias and the and the conflict and the all the things that come with that and of course.

Yeah.

course I only knew a fraction of that at the time uh and things ended up being a lot different than I expected, both good and and hard.

And yeah.

But ultimately like I felt I felt like God called me.

And so after college I joined and started in my first role.

What was what was

Very clear path, promised uh promotions and pay.

No, none of that.

None of that.
