My parents were phenomenal.

Uh they exposed us to the business, they exposed us to hard work, they uh I knew the level of expectation it was to work here and that's part of what was a little bit intimidating.

But for them, they always told us like we don't want you to join the family business.

They kind of discourage you a little bit.

That's right.

Unless you are called to it.

Okay.

And they talked about, hey, family business is hard.

And like they're like, we don't want to work together if this is just the n the convenient option for you.

Yeah.

We want this to be unless God calls you, unless this is something you are passionate about and eager to be a part of, uh, for reasons deeper than your own, you know, comforts of life.

Yeah.

don't come work here.

And so uh as I w started wrestling through that, I did a lot of that honestly I did a lot of that wrestling in college on my own or with mentors or with friends.

Okay.

Part of that was good and and I invited my parents into it a little bit, uh, but more of when I was firming up that decision and I was ready to commit to coming is is when we had more meaningful conversations.

Yeah, it w it was fun.

I loved so my first role was doing sales.

I sold advertising for our shows, so podcast, uh, for our radio, all that.

At that time podcasts were just becoming a Yeah, that was a cool thing.
