Didn't you feel that frustration sometimes?
Oh yeah.
I mean I'm not gonna act like I didn't screw that up.
Like there are plenty of times where I said inappropriate things or, you know, made hints at things that I I regret and and really broke that uh appropriate communication.
Like if you know, for here at Ramsey, if you have a problem, you take it to your leader.
And and if you can't solve it with them, you take it to their leader.
That's appropriate.
Right.
That's a

But I had to first work through things with my leader.
And so uh for a long time I did have a leader who uh we had conflict and uh respected them a ton, but uh didn't feel like they were leading in some ways like the way they should have been.
And it would have been so inappropriate for me to go around them and tell my dad uh that his person isn't doing their job.
Because I'm indirectly applying that he's not leading them.
He's not doing his job.
And so the difference between, you know, authority and influence is uh something that we talk about, right?
Authority is given, influence is earned.
Yeah.
And I had to influence my leader to lead better.
