I think Rian Johnson's tenure is going to look very different because he's doing a different job.
In a meaningful way, he is doing a very, very different job than Jim Rutherford was ever asked to do outside of, I guess, the last six months, starting with the Quinn Hughes trade.
So from that perspective, the fact that he was already here, I understand that.
That doesn't mean his M.O.
is going to be the same because he's approaching a completely different challenge and a completely different puzzle than Jim Rutherford.
But there also needs to be a commitment and an understanding of who you are, right?
