Yeah, I think so, because I knew I was going to win.
And, like, I went out and told everybody I was going to win.
And then it was like, then I did it.
And then it was like, oh, yeah, relief.
And then I was like, now until the next.
Well, the reason why it was the worst was because I got really ill after it.
I think I was in hospital for three days.
But the best was because the Olympics is all about people coming together and celebrating what they've done in the sport.
And for me, I got to do that race with six of my training partners who'd gone from the Tokyo to Paris cycle.
and six of us all did the race some of us did like my friend came fifth and I and then everybody else was around 14th place and we kind of swam the race all together so it was kind of my favorite race because of that I got to share the swim with everybody else instead of just me trying to grind out medals okay yeah yeah yeah is there a comedown after the olympics
I think it depends on your goals.
Like for me, I'm never going to stop trying to achieve more.
So I was more thinking about LA after Paris finished.
I went holiday for a bit and then I was like, I need to get back in the pool.
I think the countdown would probably happen if you were retiring or something like that.
I think you have role models in your life that you model yourself off.
I guess people say it's very un-Irish, but there's a lot of Irish sports people who are very confident and show it.
When I went to university, I had a lot of people to model off.
We had a lot of swimmers who were world champions, Olympic champions.
one of them was my best friend Felix and he was very confident but quietly confident but he was very approachable which is what I liked I liked somebody that you know you might not think they're a world champion because the way you can approach him ask him any question you want and that's kind of what I wanted to be
