If the market's increasing tenfold and you have 25% of a tenfold market, and I haven't done the maths on that, but I think you'll get the trend that I'm trying to say, you're still a company that's 10 times bigger, even though your percentage of your market share has come down because there are other entrants coming into the market.
But I think companies need to accept that the business models change.
They get disrupted and the best companies that survive over time adjust.
Look at what Coca-Cola has done.
Coca-Cola moved into the dreadful concept of packaged water.
It moved into diet drinks.
You know, you've seen McDonald's change their business model.
So a company that will survive, as to Warren Buffett, to use that expression, a company that realises what necessarily worked
You know, 10 years ago will not work in the future.
And it cuts across absolutely everything.
It's not just technology.
It's across every sector.
If you look at the companies that were the big companies that, you know, in the 1970s,
Even the Nifty 50 is a great example.
I'll just give one example.
I used to make my own clothes because once upon a time clothes were very expensive because we didn't have cheap production out of Asia.
And Simplicity Patterns was one of the ones you used.
They were in the Nifty 50 and they were on a PE multiple of 50 times.
So they fall into the category of, whoops, wiped out by cheap clothes coming out of Asia or wherever now.
