So I learned very early on in the piece that, and it's a person who shall remain nameless because they're quite famous for everything going pear-shaped.
But I sat there across the table having a conversation about one of their first startup companies.
And I literally, I came away and I really didn't understand a word of what had been said to me.
And it takes sometimes a leap of faith in one's own confidence about knowledge and what you're listening to to understand that sometimes
not all companies are always working in shareholders' best interests.
Of course, there are great companies that absolutely do that.
And they're the ones we want to find and we want to own.
But don't underestimate how much if you're getting a feeling like you don't really resonate with what this person is saying, then potentially, potentially, it's a red flag.

So equally, if you go, yeah, this sounds really good, but maybe I'll just go and do a little bit more reading or a bit more listening to confirm.
So you don't get too much confirmation bias that this is a really good green flag for this company.

Yeah, common sense.
And that's the hard one because there's an expression, the thing about common sense is it's not very common.
But I think that your point, Owen, is really important.
It's a level of transparency and honesty and mea culpa.
What you don't want is hubris.
Huge amounts of hubris.
And in the same way as an investor, you don't want to have a lot of hubris, that overconfidence, like I can't go wrong here.
