Because obviously a child who is as young as 10 can technically get pregnant if they've had their period, but their pelvis does not widen until later teenagers.

Meaning that a 10-year-old literally physically can't

cannot push a baby through the birth canal and this presents so many dangers during labor and unfortunately for examples of where a similar thing has happened around the world where a child as young as 10 has gone into labor the results are usually absolutely horrific and devastating there are some girls that are in labor for days because they literally cannot physically give birth the baby literally cannot get out

And this usually ends in devastation and heartbreak.

Pregnancy and labor and delivery is so scary anyway.

It's horrific to even think about a child having to go through all of that through no choice of their own because they're a child and they should never, ever be in that situation.

so shocking and heartbreaking from the articles and the examples that I found, is that child pregnancy, especially in children as young as 10, happens more often than you think.

Back in 2013, in the UK, there were apparently 1,378 pregnancies in girls aged 14 and under, which is an absolute insane amount.

It's something that I never really thought about before, but what the actual how?

And those are just pregnancies in one year.

But even worse, globally, across the world, in 2023, the number of children under 14 that went on to give birth was 347,000.
