I can describe this room completely different than yours because I'm sitting facing one way and you're seated facing another way.
Doesn't mean that what you're saying is not true.
It just means that what you're seeing is not what I'm seeing.
And I feel that that has allowed us, my husband and I do therapy couple to couple, and sometimes we do mixed marriages.
And I feel that this perspective has been one that has allowed us to work the most conflicts.
within those marriages, because our office will have a huge window on one side and then books and stuff on the other.
It's very clear that when they're describing the room is so different, yet they're both in the same room.
So it is legitimate what they're experiencing.
So I just feel that if we take that approach, that attitude, we can make some headways in our differences.
It's beautiful.

I love that part because I was just going to say, I don't want to be a Latina in a room because a Latina is needed in a room.
Right.
I want to be a Latina in a room because I have something to say, because I went to school, because I prepared myself, because I live a godly life trying to get from Him a message of revelation.
That's why I want the door to be open.
So my message to my girls, to my Latinas or minorities is,
Don't allow the voice of today to stop you from pursuing your dreams.
Become lawyers.
Become therapists.
Become whatever it is that you want to become and speak.
