I come from a um a family of academics and musicians, um, all of which were very talented. voice-verified

And from a young age, um, like you said, I was a classically trained trumpet player and my dad was a trumpet player and um a trumpet professor actually. voice-verified

So I started from a very young age, uh got very good at it. voice-verified

toured internationally, dropped out of high school to because I was already accepted into conservatory. voice-verified

I'd like to say that I probably peaked in my early teens. voice-verified

And uh then rode uh rode that wave down. voice-verified

But you know, as I was uh getting through college and I did uh finish a degree in music voice-verified

I saw that there was more to life than music and one of those things that I did kind of just randomly stumble upon in college um was entrepreneurship. voice-verified

So um I was part of a fellowship. voice-verified

Um there's a scholarship foundation, there was a bunch of entrepreneurs, had no idea what that meant, but kind of learned a little bit there. voice-verified

And then me and a buddy stumbled into a startup weekend about fifteen years ago and naively started a SaaS company, found a good niche, uh ended up growing that for about five years. voice-verified

So it was a lot of uh pulling interesting threads, as I like to say. voice-verified
