You know, Nan Golden was so... She was so appreciative of the show Dope Sick because she said that people didn't... You know, friends of hers and...
they just didn't fully understand what she had been going on about for so long, you know, and her outrage and her protests and, and they didn't understand it.
And so once again, the show being sort of the trial that, that was never had sort of laid it out beat by beat, exactly what happens.
And by the way, and there were so many things that I couldn't even get into the show because it's, there's so much, so much damning information.
Yeah, you know, and after the names came down off the Met, Nan called me and just said, thank you for, you know, you were part of this process.
The show was part of the process of just getting this sort of tidal wave of people to truly sort of get what happened.
She's amazing.
I mean, those protests, and she kept the story alive for many years when people weren't talking about it.
You know, it was really Patrick Braden Keith blowing it up
with the New Yorker story.
And then, and then Nan kind of kept the ball rolling, but then it would go away, you know?
And when we were in production, it had kind of gone away.
And there was definitely a sense that they had gotten away with it.
