help to, you know, have some kind of healing.
It's like 900,000 of opioids, but it's like an outrageous number, outrageous number.
And it's not just the people that tragically passed away, right?
It's the people too, that their lives were destroyed and spiraled.
It was, it's this story of their family members and their friends and the suffering they had to go through of having a friend or a relative whose life had, you know,
just transformed overnight to a life of crime and deception and tragedy.
And the anecdotes over and over are so heartbreaking.
A woman who had a back injury and was prescribed and then cut to six months later, she's in prison because she stole money from her bank job to finance her heroin habit.
you know, and has lost her family, you know, and she had kids and they won't speak to her anymore.
I mean, these, you know, kids losing parents that are still alive, but it just, you know, it's, it's just, it's the havoc that it wrecked.
You can't even count the number of people because it's community is just all, all over the country.
And thank you for doing this episode to just shining a light on the show and the issues.
And literally if it gets anyone to kind of watch the show, um,
that hasn't seen it to see the case of this, you know, and I, and I highly recommend the other one I had mentioned on Netflix, the pharmacist, because it's a, just, you know, it's a more of a micro story.
And then one episode does go into Purdue and the bigger story, but it's, it's a, that's a very Dan Schneider stories, incredibly powerful.
Well, you know, but there's just, just tragically there's, there's, you know, endless stories of, of, of the havoc that this, this caused.
