Why not do another year?
If Matty Donnelly is thinking, it is effectively half a year if it's well managed, which I'm sure he will be, and you're finished in July at the latest.
These lads, they will have regrets if they walk away from it.
playing at that level and when they have so much to contribute like and there's almost always a public kind of a push to ask players when they hit 32, 3, 4, 5 you know kind of is this it and we tend to kind of read more into body language after big games in Croke Park and the kids are brought out etc etc why wouldn't Matty Donnelly come back next year?
Barring injury, I know he's had a lot of injuries and I know this year was very tough.
Darren McCurry made the same point.
